aware of afflictions that Dobemanns may suffer from.
    These problems are not
unique to Dobermanns even though many Vets will tell you that they are.
My own personal experience has seen me lose more
Dobermanns to Cancer than any of the other 4 afflictions in Dobermanns mentioned
above.
In fact, to date, I have
not lost a Dobermann to Bloat, Cardio, CVI or excessive bleeding due to vWD.
Most Reputable Registered Breeders health test their dogs
prior to using them in their breeding programmes, so it is strongly
recommended that you seek out such breeders. Always ask questions
about health and causes of death in ancestors. Hopefully, you will
be given honest answers. |
